The right last name

Michael Christmas and Owen Carroll sit on the tarmac waiting to take off.
Flight attendant comes by and asks, "Okay, which one is Christmas?"
"That's me." Michael responds.
"Oh, what's your first name?" Flight attendant really wants it to be Nicolas or Father.
"Michael," He responds, knowing he will let her down.
"Hmmm...Mike Christmas." She says, mulling it over, trying to make it sound more festive.

She should have asked, "What's your friend's last name?"
Because "Christmas Carroll" sitting next to each other is funny.

Speaking of this Owen Carroll, one day I was telling a group of people that the reason I wasn't married is because I hadn't found someone with the right last name. I was in my typical story telling mode, crowd eating out of my hand. "I'm looking for a Day or Cookie or Carol," I said. "You know, 'Mary Christmas Carol'. How great would that be?"
It was then that I realized that I was sitting across from Owen Carroll.
Gulp. "Uh, hi Owen."
Things are still awkward between us. I guess he wasn't interested.

LOL!!! Uhh...I have a single brother. Last name "Day." (wink, wink)

Growing up, everyone always asked me why my first name wasn't Christmas or Merry. :)
